Everything you need to know about the Hello Kitty and Friends Kuromi 20th Anniversary Pop! Vinyl including release details, rarity, and display tips.

Quick answer

The Kuromi 20th Anniversary Pop! Vinyl is a Specialty Series release featuring Kuromi with her sidekick Baku, making it a standout for Sanrio collectors wanting a unique, numbered piece.

Why this figure matters to collectors

Kuromi's 20th anniversary marks a milestone for the Sanrio character, and this Pop! Vinyl celebrates it with a detailed sculpt that includes Baku. The Specialty Series numbering (115) indicates a limited production run often found at specialty retailers, which can make it more desirable for completists.

What makes it different from standard Sanrio Pops

Most Sanrio Pop! Vinyls in the main assortment do not include companion characters. Here, Baku sits alongside Kuromi, adding display value. The Specialty Series sticker also distinguishes it from common releases, though it does not guarantee extreme rarity—it simply means a different distribution channel.

Kuromi 20th Anniversary Pop! Vinyl FAQ

Is this figure rare?: It is a Specialty Series release, which means it was produced for a specific retail channel. While not ultra-rare, it may be harder to find than standard Funko Pop! Vinyls over time.
Where can I buy the Kuromi 20th Anniversary Pop?: Specialty Series items are typically sold through independent comic shops, collectible stores, and online retailers that carry exclusive Funko distribution. Fugitive Toys currently has this figure as a new arrival. If you see it in stock, consider purchasing sooner rather than later.
What size is this Pop! Vinyl?: It is a standard Pop! Vinyl size (approximately 3.75 inches tall) but includes Baku as a separate sculpt attached to the base, so it takes up slightly more shelf space than a single figure.
Does the figure come with a protective case?: No, like most standard Pop! Vinyls, it ships in a window box. You may want to add a Pop! protector if you plan to keep it in box for display. Consider buying a soft protector to keep the box mint.
How does this fit into the Hello Kitty and Friends collection?: This figure is part of a broader Funko line that includes Hello Kitty, My Melody, and others. It pairs well with existing Sanrio Pop! Vinyls and is a natural choice for anniversary-themed displays.
Can I pre-order the Kuromi 20th Anniversary Pop?: Availability may vary. Check with retailers like Fugitive Toys for current stock. Pre-orders are often not available for Specialty Series once they are released. If out of stock, set up alerts or check back periodically.
