Decide whether the LE6000 Thrilljoy PIX! Voltron event exclusive belongs on your shelf, and learn how to weigh the chase risk before you buy.

Quick answer

Buy the Thrilljoy PIX! Voltron event exclusive if you want a display-ready Defender of the Universe figure and accept that the black-and-gold 48-piece chase is a bonus, not a guarantee. Skip it if your budget only works when you pull the chase.

What the LE6000 label actually tells you

The LE6000 marking means this Voltron PIX! release is capped at 6,000 pieces. That is a useful scarcity signal for a 2025 event exclusive vinyl figure, but it is not a promise of future resale value. Treat the number as a limit on supply, not a forecast of demand.

Because the edition size is printed on the release, it also gives you a clean way to compare this figure with other limited edition PIX releases. A smaller run does not automatically make a figure more desirable; character demand and display appeal matter just as much.

The chase is the real trade-off

This release includes a chance of chase and a chance of super chase, with the super chase being a 48-piece black-and-gold variant. That is a very small slice of the run, so most buyers will receive the standard colorway.

If you are buying limited edition PIX figures primarily to hunt variants, understand that the odds are against you and the catalog does not publish exact pull rates. If you mainly want Voltron in his classic form with glowing yellow eyes and blazing sword drawn, the standard figure already delivers the display you are paying for.

Price context and the event-exclusive premium

The catalog lists this figure at USD 15.00 against a comparison price of USD 20.00. At that spread, the entry cost is low enough that the chase becomes a reasonable bonus rather than the whole reason to buy.

Event-exclusive status can make a figure harder to find later, but it can also tempt buyers to overpay on the secondary market. Check the edition size and the seller's description before paying any premium above the catalog price.

Decision rules for buying this Voltron PIX!

If you want the character, not the chase: Buy it. The standard Voltron PIX! is the figure you will actually display, and the LE6000 run keeps supply finite. Set your maximum price before you start comparing listings.
If the chase is your main goal: Do not buy multiple units expecting a black-and-gold pull. The super chase is only 48 pieces across the entire run, and exact odds are not published.
If you are comparing limited edition PIX releases: Use edition size as one filter, then weigh character appeal and display style. A 6,000-piece run is limited, but it is not the smallest tier in the PIX lineup.
If you are buying above catalog price: Confirm the edition size, event-exclusive status, and whether the listing is for the standard or chase version before you commit. Ask for photos of the actual figure, not a stock image.
