Snagged this prototype for my Seraph of the End shelf and the sculpt differences from the retail version are genuinely noticeable. The paint apps on the demon details came out clean for a proto, and it stands fine on its own without a base.
The early design stage detail is what sold me — you can see how Yuichiro's demon look evolved before the final release. Paint work on the prototype is a bit rougher than a standard figure, but that's kind of the point.
The unpainted proto sculpt really shows off the demon horns and claw detail way more than the final release does. Mine came in a hard protector too, so the early design stage look is staying mint on the shelf.
