Compare the Funko Proto Kawhi Leonard and Amadeus Cho Hulk prototypes on price, franchise, and collectibility to pick the right one for your shelf.
Quick answer
Choose the Funko Proto Kawhi Leonard if you want a lower-cost NBA prototype; pick the Amadeus Cho Hulk prototype if you prefer Marvel and a higher-end piece with a larger discount from its comparison price.
What separates these two prototypes
The Kawhi Leonard Proto is a basketball collectible tied to the Los Angeles Clippers, while the Amadeus Cho Hulk Proto draws from Marvel: Future Fight. That franchise split matters more than any spec sheet: NBA fans and Marvel collectors rarely overlap, so start with the team or universe you actually follow.
Price is the other clear divider. The Kawhi Leonard Proto is listed at $91.50 (compared to $150.00), and the Amadeus Cho Hulk Proto at $177.50 (compared to $250.00). The Hulk costs roughly twice as much, so your budget will narrow the choice quickly.
Why prototype status changes the decision
Both figures are Funko Prototypes, not standard retail Pop! releases. That means they appeal to collectors who specifically seek pre-production or limited pieces, and they may not fit a display built around numbered main-line Pop! figures. If you mainly collect standard Pops, a prototype is a deliberate side-step rather than an easy addition.
Neither listing supplies edition size, release date, or pack-out details. Treat those as unknowns and ask before buying if completeness or rarity documentation matters to you.
Trade-offs to weigh
- Franchise fit: Pick Kawhi Leonard if you follow the NBA or the Clippers; pick Amadeus Cho Hulk if Marvel: Future Fight or Hulk is your focus. Buying across fandoms usually leads to a figure that sits in storage. Decide on team or universe before comparing price.
- Budget and perceived value: The Kawhi Leonard Proto is $91.50 against a $150.00 comparison price; the Amadeus Cho Hulk Proto is $177.50 against $250.00. Both show a discount, but the Hulk requires nearly double the cash outlay. Set a hard ceiling first; the Hulk only makes sense if your budget clears it comfortably.
- Display and collection role: Both are prototypes, so they work best as focal points or in a dedicated proto section rather than mixed into a standard Pop! run. Check your shelf space: no dimensions are supplied, so confirm size with the store if space is tight. Plan where the piece will live before you buy.
