If you're new to the series or a seasoned collector, this guide will help you navigate the blind box format, understand the figures, and make informed purchasing decisions.

Blind boxes are a fun and exciting way to collect, but they also come with unpredictability. Whether you're aiming to complete the set or just want a few favorites, knowing what to expect can enhance your experience. Let's dive into the details of this enchanting series.

Understanding the Hirono × Le Petit Prince Series

The Hirono × Le Petit Prince series is a collaboration between POP MART and the iconic story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Each figure captures a moment or character from the book, rendered in Hirono's signature artistic style. The series typically includes a standard set of figures, along with hidden or chase variants that are rarer and more sought after.

As with most blind box series, you won't know which figure you'll get until you open the box. This element of surprise is part of the charm, but it also means you might get duplicates. To build a complete collection, you may need to trade with other collectors or purchase individual figures from resellers.

• Each blind box contains one random figure from the series.
• Figures are typically around 7-10 cm tall, perfect for display.
• Look out for chase figures that are rarer and more valuable.

Key Figures and What to Look For

The series features various interpretations of the Little Prince, the fox, the rose, and other elements from the story. Each figure is meticulously designed with attention to detail, from the prince's iconic scarf to the fox's expressive eyes. Collectors often seek out the more elaborate figures that depict iconic scenes.

While the standard set is beautiful, the chase figures are the crown jewels of the series. These are typically limited in production and feature special finishes or designs. If you're lucky enough to find one, it can be a highlight of your collection.

• Chase figures are often numbered or have a different color scheme.
• Some figures may have glow-in-the-dark features or translucent parts.
• Keep an eye on the packaging for hints about the figure inside.

Tips for Buying Blind Boxes

When purchasing blind boxes, it's essential to buy from reputable sellers to ensure you're getting authentic products. Look for sealed boxes and check for any signs of tampering. If you're buying online, read reviews and check the seller's ratings.

Consider your budget before diving in. Blind box collecting can be addictive, and the cost can add up quickly. Set a limit for yourself and stick to it. If you're aiming for a specific figure, you might be better off buying it directly from a reseller, even if it costs more upfront.

• Buy from authorized retailers or trusted resellers.
• Set a budget and track your spending.
• Join collector communities to trade duplicates.

Decision Rules for Buying Hirono × Le Petit Prince Blind Boxes

• If you want to complete the full set: Be prepared to buy multiple boxes. With a typical set of 6-12 figures, the odds of getting all without duplicates are low. Consider trading with other collectors or buying singles from resellers. Budget for extra purchases or join a trading group.
• If you're hunting for a specific chase figure: Chase figures are rare, often with a 1-in-12 or lower probability. Your best bet is to buy from a seller who guarantees the chase or purchase it directly from a reseller. Weigh the cost of buying boxes vs. buying the chase outright.
• If you're on a tight budget: Limit yourself to a few boxes and enjoy the surprise. Alternatively, focus on the standard figures you love most and buy them individually. Set a spending limit and stick to it.
